Benefit for Mental Health Awareness & Suicide Prevention

Date & Time

June 22, 2017 | 5PM - 2AM

This week marks three years since we lost our dear friend Mike Regan to suicide. Mike was a talented chef, woodworker, carpenter, musician, builder of beautiful mandolins, owner of the deepest voice in the deep voice game, a dedicated wearer of Utilikilts, crotchety sardonic bartender, lover of IPAs and cigarettes, father, and all around beautiful man. Mike also suffered from severe depression.

Please join us on Thursday, 6/22 from 5PM-2AM for a benefit in memory of Mike to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention. It’s our goal to help remove the stigma associated with depression, thoughts of suicide and seeking help for mental health issues.

We are partnering with our friends and neighbors, Thresholds (@thresholdschicago). 50% of bar sales will go to Thresholds for all the great work they do every single day. Thresholds provides healthcare, housing, and hope for thousands of persons with mental illness in Illinois. Through care, employment, advocacy, and housing, Thresholds assists and inspires people with mental illnesses to reclaim their lives.
