Join us this Sunday for Do Good Sunday: Brunch For A Cause. 25% of bar sales from 11-3 will benefit Montrose Metra Community Garden Montrose Metra Community Gardens. MMCG creates a vibrant green community space which connects neighbors and fosters a healthy and sustainable environment for all. Volunteer gardeners partner with students from Lillstreet Art Center KIDSTREET program and North Park Elementary North Park Elementary School to grow and harvest produce that benefits the Common Pantry Common Pantry, Lincoln Square Friendship Center and Ravenswood Community Services. University students from DePaul and Northwestern also volunteer at the garden. The focus of these educational partnerships is on civic engagement/involvement and as well as an understanding of local ecology and food insecurity. See you Sunday!
