Haole is a moderately disparaging term for non-hawaiians, generally white outsiders who don’t really get the local culture yet but love it all the same.

Spero Botsis and Ben Park are a couple of haole who met in culinary school and just plain love good food. They’re teaming up to bring the spirit of creative, honest, mixed up melting pot food from paradise to the Midwest.
