Join us this Sunday for the second of 2 pop-up brunches with Chef Kevin Schuder.

Chef Schuder has spent a decade cooking in some of the most influential restaurants in the SF Bay Area; from farm to table, to molecular gastronomy, to Japanese kitchens, before he opened Fancy Plants Catering. Originally growing up in the midwest where he still has family, he decided to re-establish roots in Chicago, and continue catering, underground dinners, and always push boundaries with plant-based foods that even an omnivore will appreciate.  


1) Cured Carrot Lox on Bagel: Our housemade Cashew Cream Cheese, Capers, Red Onion, and Dill $10 (gf option)

2) The Benedict: English Muffin, Smoked Seitan Bacon, Tofu Scramble, Liquid Carrot ‘Yolk,’ and Hollandaise, with Side Salad, Tomato Confit, and Smoked Fingerling Potatoes  $14 (gf option)

3) Breakfast Burrito: Housemade Soy Chorizo, Black Beans, Smoked Potatoes, Tofu Scramble, Green Onion, Cashew Sour Cream, Avo-Tomatillo Salsa $12 (gf option)

6) Breakfast Gnocchi: Seared Russet Potato Gnocchi, Tofu Scramble, Hollandaise, Crisp Seitan Bacon Bits, Scallion, Grated Almond Parmesan $14

7) Fancy Plants Burger: Melted Cashew Cheddar, Tomato, Onion, Lettuce, Pickles, and our Secret Sauce on a Pretzel Roll, with Smoked Potatoes, and Side Salad $12

8)  Giant Cinnamon Roll: Served with our Cashew Cream Cheese Frosting $5


10) Seared Brussels Sprouts: Lemon, Chile, Parsley, Grated Almond Parmesan $5 (gf)

11) Smoked Potatoes: Bakes, Smoked, then Fried.  With Fermented Pepper Aioli $5 (gf)

12) Greens Salad: Shaved Radish, Citrus Segments, Champagne Vinaigrette, Herbs $5 (gf)
