Do Good – Drinking for a Cause
Each month, Long Room hosts a fundraiser for a worthy cause- you can participate by attending our fundraising event (a Sunday brunch or a Monday evening) or by drinking our Cocktail for a Cause when you’re here!
In November, proceeds from our cocktail with a cause are going to American Indian Health Service of Chicago. The mission of the American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc., is dedicated to providing quality culturally competent healthcare to the American Indian and Alaska Native community and other underserved populations. AIHSC’s long term goals are to improve the health and quality of life of the American Indian and Alaska Native community as well as enhance the culturally centered healthcare services offered throughout the State.
Do Good Brunch & After Dark this month are: Sunday 11/16 from 11-3pm and Monday 11/17 6-10pm.
In December, proceeds from our cocktail with a cause are going to The Friendship Center, who foster hope and dignity in Chicago’s northwest side communities through access to food and vital resources.
Do Good Brunch & After Dark in December will be Sunday 12/7 from 11-3pm and Monday 12/8 6-10pm. In December, our Do Good events will benefit Housing Opportunities for Women who empower individuals and families across Chicagoland to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty through prevention strategies; expanded, affordable, supportive housing; and individualized support services.
Donate to Our Food Drive for The Friendship Center
From 11/24-12/8 we’ll be collecting food donations for The Friendship Center. We’re seeking items like granola bars, fruit snacks, chips, crackers, fruit cups, etc. Stop by and share some groceries with your neighbors!
