For many of us, horror is the immediate association involved with any mention of “Black Friday”. You’ve spent way too much time overeating and your crazy Uncle Gary won’t stop with the conspiracy theories. Even the dog (also named Gary) needs a break from eating, napping and family gossip. The likely excuse to make an escape is to cram into the big box stores to get that 140 inch television that won’t fit in your living room. Allow us to provide you a better alternative.
We will proudly be tapping the legendary Goose Island Bourbon County Stout again this year, along with a number of variants on the original that they do so well. To add to the fun, we decided to open up our cellar this year and make it truly epic. We’ve been holding onto a 2014, 2015 and 2016 Bourbon County Stout and it’s time to see what the cellar has done for these special stouts.
Here will be our tapping schedule for Friday, November 24th:
3pm- 2017 Bourbon County Stout Original, Barleywine, Proprietors and Knob Creek Reserve
4pm- 2016 Bourbon County Stout Original
5pm- 2015 Bourbon County Stout Original
6pm- 2014 Bourbon County Stout Original
Don’t forget to get here early and grab some grub from Biscuit Man before they shut down at 3pm. There will be a two hour gap while the kitchens switch out, and then Beard & Belly will start slinging their menu at 5pm. Don’t forget to tell Gary, your favorite drinking buddy!
