With the midterms less than a week away, we are excited that Do Good Sunday: Brunch For A Cause falls on this Sunday. Stop by for some The Biscuit Man brunch from 11:00-3:00 and enjoy a drink or two, because we will be donating 25% of bar sales to Mikva Challenge.
Mikva Challenge develops youth to be informed, empowered, and active citizens and community leaders. They do this by engaging youth in action civics, an authentic and transformative learning process built on youth voice and youth expertise. The goals of the organization: ​Provide youth with authentic and transformative democratic experiences; develop agency and future commitment to civic action; provide youth with skills and knowledge to be effective citizens; and increase exposure, demand, and access to action civics.
