Stop by for some The Biscuit Man brunch from 11-3. 25% of bar sales will go to this month’s Do Good organization, Working In The Schools – WITS. WITS sets students on a trajectory for success by building critical literacy skills and developing positive self-identity through teacher led professional development and volunteer powered mentorship programs. WITS works by delivering programs that drive students to out-perform their peers in reading level growth year over year. WITS works through teachers and volunteer mentors empowering students to believe that reading is the foundation of all learning. WITS works by advocating for access to the literacy resources necessary for every Chicago Public Schools student to achieve academically and beyond. See you Sunday!
