Our Guest Chef Pop-Up Brunch Series this week is a special Hawaiian inspired brunch hosted by Chef Spero Botsis.
Haole is slang for foreigner – a white European who doesn’t quite understand Hawaiian culture but is a part of it nonetheless.
Chef Spero is not Hawaiian, but he loves the food. Especially the weird bits of it that are irrefutably foreign but loved and accepted all the same.
Haole aims to bring the spirit of creative, honest, traditional, mixed up melting pot food from paradise to the Midwest. And this time, it’s brunch.
