Starting this weekend, Sidecar at Long Room is offering a new brunch experience both Saturdays and Sundays.
Saturday, brunch will be offered by Sidecar’s Biscuit Man (Zeeshan Shah). This will be a new, seasonally rotating menu exclusive to our Saturday patrons. An additional post will follow with new menu details so keep posted.
Sundays will be a very new experience showcasing a chef residency program where guest chefs will be featured for about a month. The first month (July 26 – August 16) will feature chefs Sieger Bayer and Ben Sheagren.
Sieger Bayer is currently the Executive Chef of New American restaurant The Heritage, opening this fall in Forest Park. The Heritage will focus on a local and seasonal menu, drawing on influences from Sieger’s international experiences, butchery and pasta background.
Before venturing out on his own, Ben Sheagren spent nearly a decade as the Chef at Hopleaf Bar, winning accolades and loyal customers by the thousands with his ambitious re-imagining of what bar food could be. A theme which he will continue when he appears at Sidecar LR.
If you’re looking to refuel after a busy Saturday night, Sundays at the Long Room is where it’s at. Our chef residency will offer a heartier fare in a creative way.
